With almost 40 inches of snow on Bogus Basin, I’m turning our attention to the holidays in a big way. The Gold Feather Gardens shop is live, and I wanted to tell you all a bit about what we’re offering, as well as other spots in Boise we’ll be gift-shopping this holiday season.

We realize that now that the winter snows are here, yard and garden projects are only top-priority for the die hards, but that doesn’t mean you should punt all of your garden dreams to the spring. Winter is my favorite time to plan out my spring garden and get everything ready in terms of soil and seeds so that I don’t miss out on early season growing.
In our online shop, we’ve got a gift for each gardener on your list, no matter their experience. Plus, 10% of our holiday sales are being donated to City of Good, a local Boise non-profit feeding vulnerable members of our community. Here’s what we’ve got:

That’s why I’m potting them up for holiday gifts. These woody herbs are low-maintenance, high-yielding and long-living.
