“My raised beds were not only productive, with a variety of beautiful, never before seen abundant squashes, tomatoes, beans, flowers, but once Jamie taught me how to prune and remove spent flowers and older plants, I rarely had to spend hours and hours of maintenance. I could walk out to the alley and enjoy the beauty because the raised beds were truly a work of art.”

How We Set You Up For Success

  • Design

We begin each project by discussing your goals for the garden. We then design a space that suits your lifestyle. From a low-maintenance pesto-producing border garden to a formal fire-pit centered potager for your friends, we want your design to reflect you to make gardening a source of joy instead of a chore.

  • Install

Our professional crews take care of everything. From removing your existing landscape to installing locally made raised beds, organic soil and seeds and plants raised by nearby farmers, your new garden setup will be fully complete. When we’re through, you can start enjoying your space immediately.

  • Grow

It’s our mission to grow confident kitchen gardeners, so we never just plant and leave. We include customized seasonal planting plans and digital grow guides with each installation and offer all of our clients the option to add-on coaching and maintenance packages to ensure your garden thrives.

Meet Jamie.

Jamie founded Gold Feather Gardens when a global pandemic brought her career in hospitality to a halt. A magazine writer and local food advocate, she turned to her garden for inspiration and healing, and she found a new path forward. That’s her goal for every client she meets: to find joy in the garden.

When Jamie isn’t gardening, she can be found writing by the river, reading a good book, cooking with her CSA and hiking in the Boise foothills with her golden retriever, Hooch, and her husband, Owen.
